takeaways from tonight's conversation with la bff

Her response to conflict/disagreement is to want to minimize it, to not focus on it, because we are in Communion. (This isn't even necessarily a feeling that disagreement is inherently bad and to be avoided, just that dwelling on it doesn't serve anything.)

My response is to want to argue -- because disagreement means someone is Wrong and everyone should be Right. (I also articulated at one point that arguing gives me the opportunity to Win. Yeah, she and I are very different people sometimes.)

So it is really hard for me to accept when there isn't Right/Wrong there is just different. And it is really hard for her to call people out when they're Wrong.
