Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez (1988, trans. Edith Grossman)

I found this much easier to follow and more enjoyable to read than 100 Years of Solitude, though I still wasn't a huge fan of the book.

I can definitely see why it's Ted Mosby's favorite book (HIMYM 1.21 "Mik"), though.
