[CWM] Second Sunday After Pentecost: Mental Health Sunday [2008-05-25]

Moment of Meditation

Breakthrough
Meditation on the Greek in Luke 6:6-11

Dear Jesus,

Your heartbeat throbs in my best;
It is your blood that forces through my veins;
Your breath gives my lungs ease and strength!

At this moment, you enjoin me:
"Stretch yourself; let go of the most terrible of sickness.
Stand outright in the immediacy of the universe's resurrection!"

We together are reconciling the trauma of the past,
Calling death to life, we proclaim the world's healing process as
God helps us all encourage creation onward. Amen!

-Beth
