Test everything. Hold on to the good.
-1 Thessalonians 5:21 (NIV)
Good things about today:
+ Again, my leg muscles were less tired than they were earlier in the week.
+ I did my strength training workout fairly easily.
+ Our copier's working again.
+ B actually came in (which surprised me -- see yesterday's locked entry), and we actually got through most of my to-do list.
+ The Recruiting meeting was productive, and we got through the bulk of my list.
+ I had written some day/date combinations down incorrectly on my timeline, and B was checking his Palm to confirm he could attend a meeting and saw that the calendar there didn't match the day/date I had said, but he said the computer must be wrong because he knows I'm always right. :D
Things I did well today:
+ I finally sent the January receipts for reimbursement to the company B consults for.
+ I sent out the itinerary for our Europe trip to my brother.
+ I arranged car service for B's upcoming trip and typed up a preliminary itinerary.
+ I picked up some groceries.
+ I stopped by my old apartment and picked up the modem to return to RCN on Saturday.
Things I am looking forward to tomorrow:
+ Allie's gonna come hang out with me while I unpack.
+ Updating my recs (B's not likely to come in, nor do I anticipate anyone giving me a long to-do list).
+ Connecting my external hard drive on my home computer.

The sign outside St. James says, "Give up hope of having a better past." Anything that says "give up hope" makes me uncomfortable, but I like the idea they're trying to get across.
