f/f version of "bromance"?

The term "bromance" actually came up in class this morning, and when the story got told afterward, someone who wasn't familiar with the word, upon hearing the explanation, said that there's a similar term for two women, said it was used in Sex and the City. I, of course, have never seen Sex and the City, so I'm asking the flist what the term in question is.
