does my heart good

I just came across this Wikipedia page and OH, my heart.

This list of names for the Biblically nameless compiles names given in Jewish or Christian mythology for characters who are unnamed in the Bible itself.

It names so many people, many of them women. Okay, Mary Magdalene being the woman taken in adultery in John 8 makes me wince, but I can't deny that it is Western Christian tradition, so Wikipedia shouldn't not include it (the article uses a variety of sources for these names -- Midrash, apocryphal books, etc.). I want to start including these names when I read the Bible out loud now.
