The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light. And they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. (Isaiah 9:2, Handel's Messiah)
Good things about today:
- ~12hrs of sleep
- The traffic coming in to the Powder House Rotary from Warner remained stopped, so I passed through without incident.
(I continue not to understand why, at the Boston Ave./College Ave. intersection, the [S]E-ward Boston Ave. traffic has a green light at the same time the N-ward College Ave. traffic does. There was a car coming and, rather than hoping I would be fast enough/hoping the car would stop, I braked. The car braked, too, and so then I got to go.
The traffic at the College Ave./George St. 4-way stop did NOT pay any attention to me and so I opted to just wait for it all to pas before I went through the intersection. Hi, people, I am a wheeled vehicle in the road; am I somehow magically invisible?) - My mom's Annual Letter arrived. That was fast!
- Sent out the CWM weekly announcements.
- Left the house, even though I didn't really feel like it, because I suspected I would feel better if I did. Bought the 2nd of 2 gift cards, and brought the Christmas tree lights to FCS. Bicycled home.
["anything that you're looking forward to, that means you're facing tomorrow with joy, not trepidation," as Ari says]
- Phonecall with la bff.
