moon house

I responded to all commenters, but in the interest of being thorough, here's a follow-up to the poll, further explaining why I made said poll.

I feel like I'm so infrequently in touch with people -- especially since I interact primarily via LJ and that's not always everyone's preferred mode -- and I worry that I'm taking people for granted and will lose them. Plus there are people whom I miss being in regular contact with, and I wonder what the best way to keep in touch with them is. (And yes, I know, this method assumes they are checking LJ right now; I didn't claim it to be a flawless method.)

Poll #607516 continuing friendship methods, part two

because not all options were accommodated in the first round:

I didn't tick any boxes in the previous poll because I am happy with the way things are now.
I would like postal mail.
Stop with the polling, you insecure freak.

You have a total of 104 friends
You requested to guess 104 entries.
8 were skipped due to invalid content (surprising?).
You made 96 guesses.
You got 91 correct.
Doing the math for you, that means you got 94% correct

[It takes the most recent public entry, so sometimes you have the amusing task of guessing someone's identity via their This Journal Friends Only post. Even more fun is when you haven't bothered to defriend abandoned journals, so you're guessing based on ancient entries. Or when it's an old entry on an active journal because the person intermittently posts publically.]
