L&O 20.5 "Dignity"
I have lots of complicated thoughts and feelings about abortion, but Ehlers-Danlos
is NOT a condition that precludes one from having a healthy fulfilling life. (My housemate showed up at my bedroom door a little after 8pm and was like, "That condition that your boss's (twelve-year-old) son has? On this episode of Law and Order
there's a baby who's aborted because that's a nonviable condition." I wtf-ed and then went into the living room and watched the rest of the episode. And had various thoughts and feelings about the abortion debate, and still wtf-ed when someone said that a kid with Ehlers-Danlos wouldn't get to have an independent fulfilling life.)
