[dreamboard] note to self
In today's "Self Care for Activists," someone referenced Howard Thurman's "Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive," which made me think of Buechner's "The place God calls you to is where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet."
Which made me think of Dreamboard -- "a time to acquire security and resources and solve your problems by doing what you instinctively know is good for you."
I'm not good at liveblogging (I'm not good at brief
blogging) but I have had a really good, energizing, time at TBC so far (which is extra bonus since I have been so worn out in recent days that I thought this weekend was gonna feel like a real drain).
And I gave my CWM button to a woman working the front desk at the hotel; she's gonna give it to her daughter.
