I should go to bed earlier. I want a new default pic. I will get a paid user account.

NEW YORK (June 18, 2002) – HarperCollins Children’s Books announced today that Barnes & Noble – Union Square in New York City will be the site of the exclusive East Coast launch for Coraline (July 2002; $15.99; ages 8 up), the first-ever children’s novel by New York Times best-selling author Neil Gaiman. The event is scheduled for Thursday, July 11 at 6:00 p.m. at Barnes & Noble, Union Square on 33 E. 17th St.

I would so go. Except that i will be in Maryland at the time. If we are in Binghamton i may beg to go to NYC, though i know i will be refused.

There’s some sort of discussion at the library 10am July 31, about how toys reflect culture and what do today’s toys say about our children’s future. Something like that. I would so be there, except that i expect to be in NYC for a Dar concert the previous night.

And hey, yet another BtVS icon link: “Goodbye to You” by Michelle Branch.
