"I get up in the morning, grab a cup of coffee, check out and pack my car, kick it in 5th gear"

I swear last year i worked on Mountain Day. I'm sure people like Alicia and Stacey asked me why i was there since it was Mountain Day and i said i was poor. Today i walked in and Michelle (one of the guards) greeted me with "You're a student, right?" in a suspicious manner. "Yeah." "So you have the day off. Go home." "Okay. A lot of employment places you don't get the day off." "Well they're wrong; go home." So here i am, pleased that i can do my work from the comfort of my own room without being interrupted to do other people's work.

Allie says i should take the day off, have some fun. Um, what i have been doing for the past few days but not doing my work? She said i should be a rebel and after we had parted ways it occurred to me that the really rebelious thing to do would be to do work on Mountain Day (though honestly, that's what lots of students do, but it's counter to the spirit if not the general practice of the day). I just remembered that i have errands to do downtown, so i will be out enjoying the weather (far too warm to be late September) for at least part of today.
