Wow it was gorgeous out today.

During lunch Meredith came up behind me and poked me and said "100!" and it took me a minute to realize what she was referring to. She shared her ideal vision of how tonight's episode would play out, and after she left, Gillian said that in the future, post-apocalyptic, people will tell stories around the fire, and the stories they tell will be of Buffy and Angel episodes, because they won't remember enough of the really good stuff, like The Odyssey, so they'll tell the next-best. I was so very pleased that she said the Whedon arcs are second only to the classics such as The Odyssey in quality.

After i'd finished all the filing at work this afternoon i got to help Stacey count all the money from the donation box this month as everyone else was busy. I love her, and she's always locked in her office, so it was great to get to chat while we were sorting the money (obviously there was minimal talking once we were actually counting). And having people tell me what a good worker i am and suchlike is always nice.

Stacey, on her way out at 5: "I'm leaving for the day and you are still the only bright spot in my whole day."

On my way out, Ann mentioned that there are some hours that need workers at the Museum Store. I'm only working for her 8 hours a week, so i'd love to pick up some extra hours. E-mailed Nan.

When Stacey and i were talking, she joked about me working here full-time after i graduate, and i said honestly i would love that. "Be careful, now you've jinxed yourself," she said, implying i really will get stuck here. It's hardly my ideal job, but i already know all the people and they're nice and i love the area, and i could get an apartment with lilithchilde; seriously, it could be a lot worse.
