"What about your shoes? Do they serve some sort of orthopedic function?"

"College chicks... they're all so serious, man." (a butchered paraphrasing, i'm sorry)

Okay, Can't Hardly Wait is the coolest movie i have seen in a long time. Yes, it's Ten Things I Hate About You and She's All That and probably lots of other movies i haven't seen, but it is so good. While watching the movie I totally wanted the soundtrack, but then i looked at the tracklist and it's so wrong. It's gotta include "Mandy" by Barry Manilow and "Romeo and Juliet" by the Indigo Girls (though it definitely sounded like a male voice when it was playing in the movie, which was weird) and it doesn't. I now refuse to buy the soundtrack. Seth Green as a character so different from Oz was way weird, but i got over it (sort of) eventually.

I am so Denise--the girl who gets dragged to the party and sits alone the whole time. However, people did know i went to school with them, and i am such a virgin.

"You are all sheep. Baa."

Flash of Cordy telling off Harmony and the Cordettes at the end of "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered."

And of course, the Geek Trio. Especially at the beginning they are so the Troika.

Listening to Amanda tell her second cousin about how no one (including perhaps herself) knows who she is when she's not Mike Dexter's boyfriend i knew she reminded me of something, and i was sure it was from Buffy and finally i figured it out. It's fragile Buffy post-Parker in "The Harsh Light of Day" and also Buffy in "I Was Made to Love You" realizing that she needs to be okay with being boyfriend-less for a while.

Kenny with the whipped cream on his nose. Flash of Willow with ice cream on her nose in the Willow and Xander scene which opens "When She Was Bad."

We've got Sabrina (Melissa Joan Hart), Dharma (Jenna Elfman, of Dharma & Greg), Quinn from Sliders (Jerry O'Connell), Dionne's boyfriend Murray from Clueless (Donald Adeosun Faison)... and a shot of Amber Benson! Fucking everybody's in this movie.

"A love struck Romeo sings the streets a serenade..." Can we drive a nail through my heart? A nail with the name "Joe" inscribed on it. So many things make me think of this boy, and this one is high on the list. Okay, so maybe i am totally in love with this boy. I would beg to differ, saying i simply love this boy so much, but maybe i'm insisting there's a difference that isn't really there. The more i know about him the more i know i could never ever date him, but if i had to marry someone right this second, i would choose him no hesitation. Whom else could i possibly choose to spend the rest of my life with?

I know everything seems so much more intense when you're a teenager. Is there a time when it stops?

"I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick. It even makes me rhyme. I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry. I hate it that you're not around, and the fact that you didn't call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you, not even close, not even a little bit, not even any at all." -Kat in Ten Things I Hate About You

"You know who else I like that didn't get much play? Velma from Scooby Doo. She was cool. She was a hip, hip lady." -stoned guy in Can't Hardly Wait

"That is a 'Fragrance of Love' scented candle, bitch." -Kenny Fisher in Can't Hardly Wait
