At dinner, Susan and i were arguing about who has been the worse student in Doug's class. We decided that i won. Totally without prompting, Emma said to me, by way of validation, "Yes, but how many fanfics have you gotten written?" (No, we don't need to have the same conversation we had a few nights ago. I just like it when people are on my wavelength.)

Have a reasonably nuanced thesis for my poetry paper but am trying to figure out what "poetry that creates imagined alternatives to reality" we have actually read.
