Have i mentioned recently how loved i am?

Yeah, there’s a Part 6 for me up on serenity_santa, but that’s not even the half of it.

I checked my campus mail for the last time before the New Year and found not one but two holiday cards. Jessie sent me a wonderful one that has a cut-out of a lighthouse at sunrise/sunset (and the cutout mirrors the silhouette of the lighthouse, because she is That Damn Good!) and has white cut-out snowflakes glued on the blue background of the cover of the card and she wrote on the front “In the darkest days of winter, there is always a light.” I think i need to put that up above my computer or something.

And i also got a lovely “thanks for being you!” card from Ruhi which is just so wonderful.

I feel like i should send love notes to all the people who so improve my own life.

My mother reminded me recently that i never sent thank you notes for any of the stuff i got for high school graduation and in her brilliance suggested, “perhaps you could send out a letter in the spring thanking all those who supported you in one way or another thru Smith, and thanking them for their part, and, of course, sharing your plans for your brilliant career in the bubble :) ?”
