Walking back to the T it felt like sand and the sidewalks were not fun. Everytime I stepped on a slant (say, curbs) my foot slipped. Walking home from the T it had mostly stopped precipitating and the sidewalks were crunchy and the lawns/bushes had decent coverings of white so it looked like winter, which made me happy.
