So, prompted by discussion of how recent textual discussions at FCCN have disappointed me and in 4 months I'll be eligible for employee discount at Harvard Extension School, I actually started looking at the Masters in Liberal Arts course offerings again. I remain underwhelmed by the English and American Literature and Language options (I always was a Bad English Major) but it occurred to me to check out the Religion offerings as well and yeah, definitely excited about that. [And I love that on the course pages they have sidebars with Related Courses.] This really shouldn't surprise me. And I'd be okay with a BA in English and an MA in Religion, balance and all :)

Edit: Browsing, there's a Dead Sea Scrolls class, which of course makes me break out in hives, but guess who's teaching it? Shaye Cohen
