Today's housingmaps.com results, in ascending price order:

+ $500: 1BR in 2BR, Somerville
Tufts/Davis area, which is fine, though I'd have to figure out just how far a walk it is to the T.
2 West Highland Terriers... I can deal, right?

+ $533: 2BRs in a 3BR, Somerville (Powderhouse)
I really really like the informativeness of this one -- "15 minute walk to Davis T stop, 5 minute walk to laundry facilities and Teele square as well as 5 minute walk to grocery and convienience stores"

+ $650: 1BR in a 2BR, Cambridge
This would be tempting, but zomg the allcaps. It looks like a bit of a hike to Harvard, but there must be buses.

+ $775 studio in Brighton
+ $980: Studio on Comm. Ave. (Allston)
I wasn't a huge fan of Brighton when I checked out some places there before (plus I so prefer Red Line to Green Line and buses ... and trying to figure out how convenient these places are located, relative to work -- or transportation thereto). I suppose I should check out the $775 studio, though.

+ $1,000: 1 BR Studio in Somerville
This is really the upper end of my price limit. Decent otherwise. Though the "Avail. Sept." is a bit of a pain.
