Tonight my hair is really well-behaved and I really like it.  Why can't it be like this all the time?    (Context: The past few days I have been thinking I'm due for a trim and wanting to get it cut shorter and wishing for a natural curl and fantasizing about dying chunks of it red.  Yeah dissatisfaction.  Plus my recurrent mention of dissatisfaction with my wardrobe -- and also with bras.  *grump grump grump*)

I'm really glad I stayed up to catch up on LJ (am not completely caught up, but much better).  Feeling of accomplishment is good.  Though of course it's tainted by the knowledge that there's still so much still not done.

But joy is good.  Recs page update is always frustrating for so many reasons, but it's also so good to be reminded of the astounding beautiful moving stories people craft.

And I have these amazing friends.

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
