So, having my first 7-11 Slurpee ever prompted me to finally e-mail Joe (something I'd been meaning to do since our last AIM conversation).  My e-mail was a veritable list of things that made me think of him, though.  I got a response this evening and near the beginning he wrote: "I’m sorry I haven’t written back yet – the ball is already rolling here for first year move in…but I was listening to ani in my office just now (‘as is’) and that always makes me think of you.  I’m glad you associate me with junk food, while I associate you with art.  Wonderful."  I cracked up, literally laughing aloud.  God I love that boy so much.
