"half-remembered directions that we can hardly separate from instinct..."

I had a really good week. Not much work, and lots of random socializing. I feel really blah today, though, and haven’t accomplished anything today although there’s so much i need to do. Well okay, so i haven’t accomplished nothing; i now have a copy of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (from the library) so Marnie and i can memorize the “playing at questions” scene. I should reread Hamlet, too.

I went to see Smith’s production of Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People on Thursday, and Ann Coulter gave a lecture here last night (which i kinda regret not going to, if for no other reason than to know first hand what and how she said), and in my Sociology class we have been talking about social norms and social deviance and symbolic crusades and so on; and what i really want to do is write an essay tying all three of those together because that’s what i was thinking when i was watching An Enemy of the People, but of course what i really should do is get all these papers for school written so tomorrow i can have a leisurely day in which i do boatloads of (required) reading.
