I had begun to form an idea of where i wanted my nano to go, so of course it promptly started spiralling away into nomansland. So i'm just writing. I have no idea where it's going. The protagonist seems more committed to her independence and the secondary character much meaner than i had thought. I'm thinking perhaps she wasn't meant to stick around all that long, even though i wanted her to. We shall see, i suppose. (Or rather i will, since i don't think i'll be sending excerpts to anyone.)
