No Future For You, Part III

I bought the cover of Faith strangling Buffy underwater for Vik and the variant cover of the three Slayer photos with the dagger for me.

I find it interesting that while Faith assumes Giles was just using her to save Buffy (rather than to avert an actual apocalypse), she also doesn't want Gigi to kill Buffy.

And wow, Gigi was seriously lesbionic with Faith/"Hope."

musesfool, I thought of you when they said "Stone Roses."

Faith's "I've had older guys in my life before, too [...] They used me, Gigi.  Told me what I wanted to hear to get me to do their dirty work for them" seems to me more about The Mayor than any of her Watchers (though possibly it's also an allusion to an as yet unwritten chapter of her past), which is interesting.

Willow: Not killing humans is what separates us from the bad guys.
Buffy: No, not being bad is what separates us from the bad guys.

I'm not looking forward to Buffy's confrontation with Giles.
